因为我们是刑事律师

我们自豪

因为我们选择了死刑辩护

我们头戴荆棘的王冠

我们手握正义之剑

走向法庭

开创未来

人人生而平等地享有自由和安全

并平等地享有不可再生的生命

生命权至上

生命权是超越其他一切权利的权利

是其他一切权利之基础

任何面临死刑的人

都有权要求政府免费为其指派辩护律师

都有权获得法律援助

都有权受到最公正的审判和最充分的辩护

以尽可能地防止冤假错案的发生或重刑的适用

不论其种族、性别、出生

或其他任何成分的不同

都应得到充分的同等的保护

我们是权利的斗士

为权利而斗争是我们伟大的天职

我们是生命的卫士

为生命而辩护是我们神圣的使命

虽然我们无权决定废除死刑

但通过我们每一次成功的死刑辩护

可以尽可能地防止死刑错案的发生

并尽可能地限制和减少死刑的适用

直至最终全人类彻底废除死刑

所有死刑辩护律师团结起来

结成死刑辩护律师联盟

尽管我们天各一方

但我们有着共同的名字

——死刑辩护律师

我们沟通、交流、互助、合作

为了不再有犯罪、不再有死刑的和谐社会

为了不再有后悔和遗憾

所有的挑战和风雨

我们共同面对

Death Penalty Defending Lawyer' Declaration

we are glorious

because we are lawyer of criminal crimes

we are proud

because we have chosen death penalty defending

we wear crown made by thorns

we hold the sword of justice

and walk into the court

to inaugurate a better future

Everyone is equally born to have the rights for freedom and security

and everyone only has one life.

The right to human life is uppermost,

which transcends any other rights and  

is the basis to all the other rights.

Anyone who faces death penalty

has the right to have defendent lawer provided by the govenment

and to be provided with legal aid

and has the right to the justest adjudgement and the most sufficient defence.

We have to do our best to avoid misjudged case and the application of torture.

People with different ethnic groups, different sex, different parentage,

or are different in any other aspects

should be eaqually and sufficiently protected

We are the fighters for rights

fighting for rights is our great vocation

We are the protectors for lives

defending for lives is our sacred mission.

Although we cannot decide the abolishment of death penalty,

everytime, by sucessful death penalty defending

we can avoid the happening of misjudge case

and to reduce the application of death penaly in utmost degree

till one day, death penalty will be abolished in our human world.

All the death penalty defender, let's draw together

to form the alliance of death penalty layers.

Although we are far from each other

we have the same name
    ——death penalty defender

we communicate, correspond, assist and colaberate with each other

For a harmonious world in which there is no crimes, no death penalty

For a world in which there is no remorse and regrets

let's face to all the challenges and difficulties together.
